Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients of either sex, aged 18 to 65 years, with American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status I or II. 2. Scheduled for elective surgical procedures requiring Tracheal intubation and NGT insertion
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient s refusal 2. Pregnancy 3. Gastric or esophageal bleeding or varices 4. Impaired coagulation, or thrombocytopenia, or other bleeding disorders 5. Nose, throat and esophageal tumors or anatomical malformation 6. History of CSF rhinorrhea or epistaxis 7. Recent esophageal or gastric surgery (risk of anastomotic leak)
