Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1)Adults aged 18 years and above 2)Patients willing to participate and provide informed consent 3)Both AKI and CKD patients requiring temporary IJV access 4)Patients with access to a smart phone
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1)Patients with pre-existing bloodstream infection at enrollment 2)Patients already on long-term tunneled catheter 3)Patients with infected or thrombosed IJV site prior to insertion 4)Patients not willing to provide consent
