Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients fulfilling diagnostic criteria Women in age group of 16 to 30 years Unmarried women Women having regular (3 to 5 days/28days)menstrual cycle Mild to severe symptomatic cases

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient diagnosed with psychiatric disorder Patient diagnosed with any pelvic pathology Patient diagnosed with any systemic disorders By using PMDD scale patients of premenstrual dysphoric disorder will be excluded Patient with very severe symptoms

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The effect of treatment is assessed on the basis of 1. Subjective criteria symptoms appear during 15th to 28th day of menstrual cycles 2. Objective criteria symptomatic analysis based on actual and percentage PMS scale scoringTimepoint: Treatment duration is two consecutive cycle and assessment will be done on 15th 21st and 28th day of menstrual cycle and follow up is on 3rd consecutive cycle on 15th 21st 28th day of menstrual cycle after treatment

MeasureTime frame
Observe the changes in menstrual symptoms and physiological ,psychological, behavioural symptoms in PMS. To evaluate whether kushmanda ghrita is better effective than goghrita or vice versaTimepoint: Follow up will be done on 3rd consecutive cycle on 15th 21st 28th day of menstrual cycle after treatment
