Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Criteria for Adolescents 1. Adolescent who can read and write in English or Malayalam 2. Adolescent with file diagnosis of Internalising disorders such as anxiety disorders or depressive disorders as per ICD 11 3. Adolescents stabilised on psychiatric medication for anxiety or depression 4. Clinically average intelligence (or above) Criteria for Parents 1. Age range 30 to 60 years 2. Both parents or single parent providing consent 3. Parents can read and write in English or Malayalam 4. Parents with minimum formal education of 7 years 5. Parents living with their adolescent child for the last three-years
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Criteria for Adolescents 1. Adolescents diagnosed with comorbid conduct disorder, severe suicidal risk and active psychotic symptoms 2. Adolescents with symptom severity that interrupts participation. 3. Adolescents diagnosed with any neurodevelopmental or neurological conditions that prevents them from engaging in therapy. 4. Adolescents who have undergone psychotherapy in the past 3 months or currently undergoing psychotherapy 5. Adolescents who have undergone more than two sessions of therapy involving family Criteria for Parents 1. Parents who are currently (actively) diagnosed with any mental health disorders, serious medical or neurological conditions that affect their participation in the study 2. Parent/s currently undergoing therapy 3. Parents diagnosed with Intellectual disability 4. Parents diagnosed with neurodevelopmental conditions (apart from intellectual disability) that affect their participation in the study
