Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Permanent first and second maxillary and mandibular molars. 2. Moderate to severe Pain score on Heft-Parker Visual Analog Scale (HP -VAS). (No pain: 0 mm, Mild pain: more than 0 to less than 54 mm, Moderate pain: greater than 54 to less than 114 mm, Severe pain: more than 114 mm) 3. Teeth with positive response to cold test and Electric pulp test. 4. Teeth with negative response to palpation and percussion test. 5. Patients in good health, as determined by their medical history and responses to verbal questioning, will be included in this study. 6. Patients who have given informed consent will be included in the study
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with periodontal probing depth greater than 4 mm. 2. Patients with swelling or sinus tract. 3. Tooth with periapical pathology on radiograph. 4. Teeth with no pulp exposure on caries excavation. 5. Patients with any medical condition- bleeding disorder, immunosuppressive condition or systemic diseases like hypertension or Diabetes Mellitus 6. Patients who took medications (Eg: analgesics) that could modify the pain assessment 12 hours before the first visit
