Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients aged eighteen years or older. 2.Confirmed diagnosis of liver disease, either acute or chronic. 3.Patients admitted to the intensive care unit and requiring oxygen saturation monitoring. 4.Availability of simultaneous SpO two and SaO two measurements. 5.Informed consent obtained from the patient or the legal guardian.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Age less than eighteen years. 2.Patients with significant cardiopulmonary disease or congenital heart disease. 3.Conditions affecting pulse oximeter reliability, including severe hypotension, edema, presence of nail polish, or motion related artifacts Methemoglobinemia or carboxyhemoglobinemia. 4..High fraction of inspired oxygen requirement more than sixty percent. 5.Mechanical ventilation with unstable ventilatory parameters. 6.Absence of paired SpO two and arterial blood gas readings within five to ten minutes.
