Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Individuals diagnosed with alcohol dependence using established diagnostic criteria AUDIT Physician Version. 2. Adults aged 18 years or older.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with major psychiatric illness schizophrenia, bipolar disorder 2. Pregnant or lactating women 3. Patients with acute liver failure, alcohol induced pancreatitis, history of GI bleeding, heart disease, uncontrolled hypertension 4. Individuals with a history of complicated alcohol withdrawal with seizures, delirium, tremors
