Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Mandibular molar with symptomatic apical periodontitis, having moderate to severe pain Pt older than 18 years, free of any systemic disease Had not taken any antibiotic or analgesic within 10 days prior to treatment Teeth that gave prolonged response / no response to thermal stimuli / electric pulp test

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pt with gingivitis who have gingival bleeding Pt with gingival recession exceeding 3mm. Diffuse periodontitis with deep pocket and tooth mobility

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate the effect of different type of irrigants on the change in IL-8 levels in gingival crevicular fluid . (pretreatment post treatment Timepoint: 1 week- the day when patient gets their first treatment and within 1 week recalled for next appointment and the sample is collected

MeasureTime frame
to compare and evaluate the effectiveness of various irrigants in in terms of IL8 levels changes using ELISA kitTimepoint: 1 week
