Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Children in the age group of 9-12 years of age. 2. Children requiring extraction of grossly decayed mandibular permanent first molar. 3. Children requiring extraction of previously endodontically treated mandibular permanent first molar due to poor prognosis and reinfection. 4. Radiographically detected grossly decayed mandibular permanent first molar with periapical pathology, presence of radiolucency in the furcation or periapical regions greater than 5mm, and internal or external root resorption with complete distruction of crown structure.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Children with irreversible pulpitis of permanent mandibular first molar which can be enodontically treated. 2. Children with h/o bleeding disorder 3. Children with systemic abnormalities which would hinder wound healing. 4. Children with cardiac abnormalities and special children.. 5. Children with chromosomal or genetic abnormalities.
