Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients undergoing elective thyroid surgery, Age between 18yrs to 65 yrs, ASA 2, Under general anaesthesia with oral endotracheal tube.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Tracheostomy, Anaplastic or advanced cancer, Cervical spine injury or cervical disease, Pregnant patients, Atlanto-occipital extension difficulty, Patient refusal, Inability to give consent to the study, Emergency surgeries.
