Three distinct cohorts, one of patients harboring metastatic pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma glioblastoma IDHwt, extensive small cell lung cancer 3. Long-term survival is defined as an exceptional long survival of more than or equal to 5 years from stage IV diagnosis for PDAC, extensive SCLC, and GBM-IDHwt 4. Availability of at least one tumor block sample and associated clinical annotations
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. less than 18 years old at diagnosis 2. Hematological malignancy or solid tumors, which are not in the scope of tumor types described in the inclusion criteria 3. Tumor sample not available for multi-omic analyses.
Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| The proposed research, aims to analyse multi-omic data from long-term exceptional cancer survivors across multiple tumour types. These individuals have demonstrated extraordinary survival beyond clinical expectations, offering a unique biological window into potential resistance mechanisms and curative pathways.Timepoint: All tumor tissue samples from patients (samples expected are FFPE or Frozen) will be obtained at the following time points: 1. Baseline (diagnosis): surgical pieces or tumor biopsy samples. 2. Progression/Relapse 3. Any other time of the disease (earlier tumor tissue before inclusion diagnosis or other tissue available for the selected patients, should also be submitted) | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Description of disease-specific molecular, radiologic, & clinical features associated with long-term survival within each tumor cohort.Timepoint: Differences in clinical characteristics & treatment exposure between long-term survivors & matched controls. | — |
