Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patient with complaints of acute cough less than 3 weeks. Patients with classical signs and symptoms of Vataja Kasa described in Bruhadtrayi treatise will be selected for present study. 1. Shushka Kasa (Dry Cough) 2. Prasakta kasa (Continuous coughing) 3. Swarabheda (Hoarseness of Voice) 4. Kshobha (Sore Throat/ Irritation) 5. Daurbalya (Weakness) 6. Urashoola (Chest Pain) 7. Maha Vega Ruja Swana (Dry cough that is loud, painful, and of high intensity)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Any acute systemic disease or Infection, with post covid lung disease/complication. 2. Red Flag Signs associated with Cough: Hemoptysis, Breathlessness, Weight Loss, Fever.viii 3. Patients suffering from fever, any systemic or serious illness like Emphysema, Renal diseases. 4. Known case of Diabetes Mellitus, uncontrolled HTN and Cardiovascular disease. 5. Pregnant & lactating mothers. 6. Any Malignancy. 7. Known case of Dyslipidemia. 8. Pre diagnosed Rheumatoid arthritis. 9. Acute and serious conditions which require emergency intervention will be excluded.
