Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients who have undergone elective OPCAB and with positive blood culture after 2 calendar days of ICU admission 2. Age more than 18 years. 3. Patients who will provide written informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. History of hypersensitivity to the antimicrobial agents (polyhexamethylbiguanide PHMB) used in the coated catheters. 2. Patients requiring central venous catheterization for less than 48 hours. 3. Patients with immunocompromised states or on immunosuppressive therapy. 4. Intraoperative conversion from off-pump to on-pump coronary artery bypass grafting. 5. Use of intra-aortic balloon pump perioperatively.
