Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| To assess the utility of the HACOR score at 30 minutes after initiating a spontaneous breathing trial to predict the weaning failure in patients requiring invasive mechanical ventilation. Timepoint: To calculate HACOR score at 30 minutes after initiating a spontaneous breathing trial | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| 1.To compare the HACOR score with the Extubation Predictive score (ExPres) for successful weaning. 2.To compare the HACOR score with the SOFA SCORE in predicting successful weaning. 3.To compare the HACOR score with the APACHE II SCORE in predicting successful weaning. Timepoint: HACOR score,APACHE II score, SOFA score, ExPres score to be calculated 30 minutes after giving spontaneous breathing trial. Baseline APACHE Score, & ExPres score on day of Spontaneous breathing trail. | — |
