Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Singleton pregnancy , Women with no prior GDM diagnosis in earlier trimesters, Willing to undergo OGTT in third trimester

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Known diabetes mellitus (pre-gestational or early GDM), Multiple gestation , Other major comorbidities (like chronic hypertension, renal disease)

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To establish the proportion of women diagnosed with GDM in the third trimester. To identify specific fetomaternal complications linked to late onset GDM. To generate data that can influence screening protocols and improve outcomes.Timepoint: At third trimester of pregnancy

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
More likely to have family history of DM in screen positive group. More likely having LGA in screen positive group. More chance of unexplained fetal death in screen positive group.Timepoint: Third trimester of pregnancy, at delivery
