Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Participants must be symptomatic for at least seven days prior to enrollment and must be willing to provide written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants who are asymptomatic or already recovered, those currently taking steroids or antibiotics within the past seven days, and individuals with known hematological or other systemic disorders will be excluded. Pregnant and lactating women, participants with comorbidities that may affect immune function, and those with open wounds at any of the relevant acupuncture points EX HN8 (Bitong), LI 4 (Hegu), UB 13 (Feishu), LU 7 (Leique), and LU 5 (Chize) will also be excluded from the study.
