Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Children with Down s syndrome with mild to moderate intellectual disability (ID) in the age group of 5 12 years. Children with Down s syndrome fulfilling the ASA I and ASA II criteria. Children with Down s syndrome without any previous dental experience. Children with Down s syndrome requiring intraoral examination and fluoride varnish application.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Children whose parents did not give consent for the study. Children who refused to draw a picture. Children with Downs syndrome diagnosed with severe intellectual disability. Children with Downs syndrome with any other underlying anomalies. Children requiring treatment under local anaesthesia.
