Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patient visiting to Kasturba Hospital with symptoms (Fever, Headache, Altered sensorium (GCS less than 15 or new confusion, Focal neurological deficits, Neck stiffness or any signs of meningeal irritation) suspected for Meningoencephalitis or patient with any positive imaging, CSF pleocytosis or any microbiological proof of infection

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient with other primary neurological conditions (brain tumor, severe traumatic brain injury, intracranial bleed)
