Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patient having classical sign and symptoms of Darunaka. Kesh Bhoomi Rukshta refers to dryness and roughness of scalp, Kandu denotes itching , Twak Sphutan indicates scaling of skin of scalp and Keshachyuti means Falling of hair. Patients between 20-60 years age group. Patient of either sex. Patient diagnosed with Darunaka and willing to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient having dandruff due to specific skin diseases like Psoriasis will be excluded. Pregnant and lactating females will be excluded. History of skin hypersensitivity or allergy to sesame oils or lotion. Patients unwilling or unable to follow the protocol or maintain regular follow up. History of mental illness or psychiatric conditions that may affect compliance.

Secondary outcome: Improvement in symptom of Darunaka. (Dandruff) Twaksphutana (scaling of skin of scalp), Kandu (itching), Rukshata (dryness and roughness of scalp) and Keshachyuti (Falling of hair).Timepoint: 45 Days
