Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients under the age of 15 years with a unilateral renal tumor with suspected perinephric spread, registered at our center will be included in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients operated at different center 2.Postoperative different pathology of renal tumor other than wilms tumor 3.Not willing to take part in the study 4.Inadequate imaging quality or missing images (unable to assess the criteria).

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To assess the concordance between radiologic suspicion of perinephric spread on preoperative CT and actual perinephric invasion observed intraoperatively or on histopathology in children (below 15 years) with newly diagnosed unilateral Wilms tumor.Timepoint: Before and during surgery

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1.To determine the diagnostic accuracy of specific CT features (lobulations, indistinct margins, capsular breach) for predicting pathologic perinephric involvement. 2.To assess the relationship between pathologic proven perinephric spread with risk factors such as tumor size, laterality, or histological subtype. Timepoint: Before and post surgery
