Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Apparently healthy Elderly individuals with 60 70 years of age Poor quality of sleep (ranges between 2-14) according to PSQI scale 25 days napping habit in a month (80 percent compliance) for continuous 3 month Individuals having proper sensory perception. Individuals having short to moderate napping habits (5 90 minutes) will be included in the nappers group & individuals having no habit of napping will be included in the non-nappers group Individuals willing to give written consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals with psychiatric conditions or on medications affecting cognition. Individuals who sleep during both pre-lunch and post-lunch periods will be excluded. Individuals with a habit of smoking or alcohol consumption will be excluded from the study. 3-5 days of napping in a month (20% compliance) Individuals having long to extended duration of napping habits (more than 90 minutes) will be excluded Individuals with major co-morbidities viz.Thyroid dysfunction, Cardio-vascular diseases, other physical conditions. Diwaswapna may be associated with changes in memory function among elderly individuals, as reflected in memory-specific domains of MoCA and MMSE assessments A possible association between Diwaswapna and individual s Prakriti may be identified. Diwaswapna may influence the quality of life, as assessed by the WHOQOL-BREF scale. Timepoint: 12 months; Diwaswapna may be associated with changes in memory function among elderly individuals, as reflected in memory-specific domains of MoCA and MMSE assessments A possible association between Diwaswapna and individual s Prakriti may be identified.
