Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Adults aged 60 to 80 years. 2. Clinically diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. 3. BMI greater than or equal to 25 kg/m (Asia-Pacific classification for obesity). 4. Referred for MRI and able to undergo MRI procedures. 5. Willing to participate and provide written informed consent. 6. Able to follow yoga instructions and perform basic physical movements.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. History of neurological disorders (e.g., stroke, epilepsy, brain tumors, neurodegenerative diseases). 2. Psychiatric illnesses affecting cognition (e.g., major depression, schizophrenia). 3. Severe musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, or respiratory conditions that limit physical activity or make yoga unsafe. 4. Contraindications to MRI (e.g., pacemaker, metallic implants, claustrophobia). 5. Uncontrolled hypertension or uncontrolled diabetes. 6. Current participation in structured yoga or exercise programs. 7. Any condition that, in the investigator s opinion, may interfere with participation or study outcomes.
