Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA grade I and II Patients undergoing elective surgeries under general anaesthesia Patient willing to give written informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with history of reactive airway disease, oesophageal reflux , previous difficulty with intubation or a suspected difficult airway. Patients with allergy to any of the study drugs. Patients with pre-existing cardiovascular, renal and hepatic disorders. Surgical procedures which lasts more than 4 hrs will be excluded from the study.
