Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age between 20 years and 60 years. 2.Sex: Both Sexes. 3.Patients fulfilling the diagnostic criteria of ROME IV for IBS-C (Irritable bowel syndrome with constipation). 4.Signs and symptoms of Vataja Grahani.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Other subtypes of IBS like diarrhea, mixed, unclassified. 2.Patients diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease. 3.Known case of CA colon, intestinal tuberculosis. 4.Patients with chronic alcoholism. 5.Pregnant or lactating women. 6.Patient with any co morbidities needs long term drug treatment , rheumatoid arthritis, tuberculosis, uncontrolled diabetes, hypertension. 7.Patients on any medications for management of IBS-C in last 30 days. 8.Functional constipation. 9.Ano rectal diseases like piles , fissure, fistula. 10.Patients on antidepressants, antipsychotics, antihistamines, anticonvulsants, non - steroidal anti inflammatory drugs, Tricyclic antidepressants, opiates.
