Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Adults aged 18 to 60 years. Patients requiring Class I composite restoration in permanent molars with remaining dentin thickness of 1mm, sufficient to avoid pulp exposure. Vital teeth with no spontaneous severe pain; normal percussion and no periapical radiolucency. Ability to provide informed consent and comply with follow-up.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Non-vital or previously root canal-treated teeth or previously restored tooth. Teeth with deep caries risking pulp exposure, advanced periodontal disease, or mobility greater than Grade I. Allergies to any study materials. Pregnant or lactating women, or patients on medications affecting pain perception. Tooth having any enamel breakdown or wear and tear.
