Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. To assess collapsibility indices of IVC and SCV in the patients. 2. To determine the diagnostic accuracy of SCV-CI and IVC-CI in predicting post induction hypotension. 3. To study the proportions of patients experiencing PIH. 4. To corelate other demographic factors with PIH in patients

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Pregnant women 2. Patients with local infection, surgical scars, or deformities in the chest or abdominal region 3. Patients receiving vasopressors or significant fluid resuscitation prior to induction 4. Patients with arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation
