Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Primary- To estimate the prevalence of significant venous congestion assessed by VExUS (more than or equal to grade 2) in perioperative period of adult heart valve surgeryTimepoint: 1. Prior to induction of anesthesia(T1) 2. At the time of admission to cardiac surgical ICU after the surgery(T2) | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| 1. To evaluate the association between the severity of venous congestion with right atrial and right ventricular dimensions, right and left ventricular systolic function, severity of tricuspid regurgitation, NYHA grade, incidence of AKI, SIELI, 28 day mortality, prolonged ICU stay( more than 7 days). 2. To compare the prevalence and severity of venous congestion among different types of cardiac valvular pathologies in perioperative period of adult heart valve surgery.Timepoint: 1. Prior to induction of anaesthesia(T1) 2. At the time of admission to cardiac surgical ICU after the surgery(T2) | — |
