Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: FOR PATIENTS: Any Adult patients requiring Bag and Mask ventilation All elective and emergency surgical patients with both normal and predicted difficult BMV undergoing general anaesthesia for whom BMV is required FOR RESIDENTS: All first year anaesthesiology residents

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: FOR Patients : Patients in whom the emergency situation does not provide opportunity for supervised learning, refusal by the anesthesiology consultant for first year resident attempting BMV, Rapid sequence induction Surgeries involving the cervical spine Paediatric patients FOR RESIDENTS: Residents who have previous experience in anaesthesia and critical care beyond under graduation
