Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Individuals aged 18 40 years attending the General OPD of State Unani Medical College and Hospital Prayagraj. Both males and females willing to participate in the study. Individuals according to ADA diagnostic criteria. Individuals who give written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals previously diagnosed with type 1 or type 2 diabetes mellitus and currently on treatment. Individuals with chronic kidney disease, liver disease or other systemic illnesses affecting glucose metabolism. Individuals with gestational diabetes will be excluded from the study.
