Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Minimum complement of 20 teeth Clinical periodontal health on an intact periodontium (Group 1). Dental plaque induced gingivitis on an intact periodontium (Group 2). Stage II Grade B periodontitis(Group 3)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Systemic conditions or disorders affecting oral health for example, diabetes mellitus. Those who have received prior restorative, prosthodontic or orthodontic treatment. Patients who have taken antibiotic therapy or any other medication within the last six months. Patients who smoke or consume any tobacco products Pregnant or lactating mothers
