Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Individuals diagnosed with prehypertension. Prehypertensive patients who are between age group 30 70 years. Prehypertensive patients who are either taking any medication or not taking medication for prehypertension. Prehypertensive patients who are willing to include religious recitation for the duration of the study. Prehypertensive patients who are Hindu by religion.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Prehypertensive patients who are deaf and mentally disturbed. Prehypertensive patients who are already regularly reciting the Gayatri Mantra in their daily routine.
