Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Person between 18 to 60 years of age and irrespective of gender Classical Symptoms of Vataja Kasa Acute cough of viral origin Persistent dry non-productive cough for 7 to 21 days Viral Infection Clinical symptoms of a viral upper respiratory tract infection eg sore throat mild fever runny nose fatigue

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Bacterial Infections History of asthma COPD or tuberculosis Presence of sputum or purulent discharge Serious comorbidities eg cardiovascular disease immunocompromised states Cough severely affecting daily activities Cough caused by conditions like GERD or allergies Pregnancy and Lactation Use of antibiotics within 48 hours before enrolment
