Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Change in Oral Sexual Health Literacy measured using the OSHL-25 scale. The OSHL-25 is a 25-item validated instrument assessing five domains: Access to information and services Functional literacy (reading/comprehension) Understanding and evaluation of health information Decision-making and application Communication and advocacy Scores range from low to high literacy; higher scores indicate improved oral sexual health literacy.Timepoint: Baseline (0 weeks): Before exposure to the intervention; OSHL-25 administered to assess initial literacy. 4 Weeks (Midline): After approximately half of the AUDIVANCE video series is delivered; OSHL-25 repeated to estimate early/intermediate changes. 8 Weeks (Endline): Immediately after completion of the full intervention cycle; OSHL-25 re-administered to measure final change in literacy.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Sexual Risk Behaviors: Self-reported condom/dental dam use during oral sex at baseline & follow-up; increased always use or safer adaptations indicates improved STI prevention. Oral Hygiene Practices: Brushing, floss/mouthrinse use, & dental visits assessed via a short questionnaire; expected improvements in routine hygiene & preventive care-seeking. Substance Use: Self-reported reduction or quit attempts for tobacco/betel nut; increased awareness of associated cancer risks also considered positive change. Health Service Uptake: Number of participants accessing referred services (oral screening, STI testing); increases indicate successful translation of literacy into action.Timepoint: Baseline (Month 0 1) for all secondary outcomes Endline or Post-intervention (Month 3) for all secondary outcomes
