Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Presence of one or more periodontal pockets, as classified under Stage II or Stage III periodontitis, in at least two quadrants of the mouth. 2. Systemically healthy patients. 3. Patients who have provided written informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Pregnant and lactating women. 2. Patients with the habit of smoking or tobacco chewing. 3. Patients who underwent periodontal therapy in the past 6 months. 4. Patients who underwent antibiotic therapy in the past 3 months. 5. History of allergy to iodine. 6. Patients with history of bleeding disorders.
