Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients admitted in Medical ICU and Ward with -Clinical diagnosis of Delirium screened by CAM-ICU and meeting criteria as per ICD 11 code - 6D70.0 2. Aged 18 years to 80 years 3. Written informed consent from nominated representative

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Delirium suspected to be due to substance intoxication or withdrawal 2. Known or suspected severe mental illness (F20, F31) 3. Pregnant or nursing women 4. Known uncorrected hearing impairment 5. Mechanically ventilated patients

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate the effect of Indian Classical Music with Standard of Care on the frequency of behavioral disturbances in patients with Delirium.Timepoint: RASS score more than +2 and less than -2 defined as behavioural disturbances

MeasureTime frame
â?¢ To assess the time taken to resolution of delirium after addition of Indian Classical Music with Standard of Care. â?¢ To assess the changes in heart rate, blood pressure, sleep pattern after addition of Indian Classical Music with Standard of Care. â?¢ Dose & duration of antipsychotics & sedatives required after addition of Indian Classical Music with Standard of Care. Timepoint: Outcome to be assessed at Baseline & every 8 hourly until resolution of Delirium
