Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I and II Elective surgical procedures requiring general anesthesia with supraglottic airway device 2. Mallampati grade I and II 3 Patients who have given written informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients unwilling to participate in the study 2.Emergency surgeries 3. Known or predicted difficult airway 4. Body Mass Index below 35 kg per m 5. Patients at risk of aspiration full stomach, pregnancy, gastroesophageal reflux disease 6. Mouth opening less than 3 cm 7. History of upper airway pathology or prior surgery 8.Cervical spine instability or limited mobility Patients fulfilling the above said inclusion criteria will be subjected to study

determine the optimal operating table height for supraglottic airway device insertion that maximizes success rates and minimizes insertion time while enhancing anesthesiologist comfortTimepoint: Time measured in seconds from when the supraglottic airway is picked up until the appearance of the square wave capnography waveform, indicating adequate ventilation 1min,2min,3min

Which optimal operating table height for supraglottic airway device insertion in terms of insertion time & success rate & ease of insertion & anesthesiologist comfortTimepoint: 1.Patients will be monitored for complications for 24 hours postoperatively 2.Sore throat & dysphonia will be assessed 2 hours after surgery & at discharge
