Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Diagnosed systemic hypertension as per JNC criteria Age-matched normotensive controls Eyes without a history of intraocular surgery (except uncomplicated cataract surgery) Grade IV hypertensive retinopathy patients enrolled only if regular ophthalmic examination (fundus photography, OCT) for greater than 6 months Pupil dilatation greater than 6mm Willing to provide informed consent
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with uncontrolled BP -systolic BP 140 mmHg or diastolic BP more than 90 mmHg and acute HTNR changes like cotton wool spots, retinal hemorrhages, exudative retinal detachment. Eyes with BCVA less than 0.7, IOP greater than 21mmHg and axial length greater than 26.0mm
