Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Diagnosed with hypertension according to standard clinical guidelines of European Society of Hypertension. Willing to participate and provide informed consent
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with acute and chronic glomerulonephritis, renal artery stenosis, chronic kidney disease, pheochromocytoma, primary aldosteronism, etc. Patients suffering from contagious diseases and other malignant diseases Women in pregnancy or lactation Patients with breakage, inflammation, scarring, etc, at the selected acupuncture point. Patients with serious cardiac arrhythmia, recent myocardial infarction, recent episode of stroke, or heart failure. History of psychosis or any other mental or intellectual abnormalities. Patients with acupuncture needle phobia. Participation in any other clinical trials.
