Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. The study would be limited to female college students. The age of female subjects would be confined from 18 to 22 years only. 2. Willingness to participate in the study and sign the written consent form. 3. The independent variables would be on selected yogic practices, Pranayama and Bandha. 4. The dependent variables would be restricted to flexibility, Body Mass Index, Hip-Waist ratio, Posture assessment, balance and concentration variables only. 5. The participants will be assessed if suitable for practicing yogic practices based on physical preliminary exam.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. The factors like climatic conditions, environmental and social-economical status are not to be taken into consideration. 2. Certain factors like life style, food habits, body alignment, personal way of life and motivational factors are not to be taken into consideration for this study. 3. The day to day routines would not be controlled for this study. Male students were not taken into the study. 4. Those do not give consent form. There were no theory classes of yoga. 5. Participants who were active in sports activities are not taken into consideration for the study.
