Exclusion criteria: - Known endocrine or chronic illnesses - Long-term medication affecting weight

To find out the prevalence of obesity and its associated risk factors such as sociodemographic, dietary, and lifestyle related factors among school-going children of early adolescent age group in private and government settings of urban and rural areas.Timepoint: Baseline

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. To find out the key sociodemographic factors associated with obesity. 2. To correlate dietary patterns with obesity. 3. To identify the associated lifestyle related factors such as physical activity, sedentary behavior, and sleep duration. 4. To assess the prevalence of obesity in association with daily screen time. 5. To determine the prevalence of obesity and overweight in association with family history of obesity and overweight status. Timepoint: baseline
