Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: BMI 18.5- 24.9 ASA I -II Mouth Opening greater than 3 cm Modified MPS I-II Complete range of neck movements Positive upper lip bite test

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Anticipated difficult airway No surgery, burns or radiation therapy in submandibular area Emergency surgery Haemodynamic Instability BMI less than 18.5 and more than 24.9 Kg/m2 Patient with short thick necks and prominent upper incisors History of difficult tracheal intubation previously Patient refusal

Time required for Intubation (measured from insertion of endotracheal tube into oral cavity to appearance of capnography waveform)Timepoint: Time required for intubation will be measured once intraoperatively at the time of endotracheal intubation

Glottic view using Cormack- Lehane gradingTimepoint: During laryngoscopy at the time of intubation. It will be observed by the blinded observer immediately during laryngoscopy;Ease of intubation & need for ancillary manoeuvresTimepoint: Documented by need for additional airway equipment (e.g bougie, stylet) or external laryngeal manipulation applied to achieve successful intubation;Haemodynamic responseTimepoint: Heart Rate (HR), Systolic Blood Pressure (SBP), Diastolic Blood Pressure (DBP), Mean Arterial Pressure (MAP) will be measured & recorded using standard monitoring equipment at specified time points Baseline (Pre Induction) Post Induction Immediately after Intubation 1,3 AND 5 minutes post intubation
