Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 18-60 years of both sexes. 2. ASA (American Society of Anaesthesiologists) grade I-II patients. 3. Patients scheduled to undergo elective surgery under general anaesthesia in supine position, requiring endotracheal intubation.

MeasureTime frame
To compare the incidence and severity of postoperative sore throat at 30 minutes, 1, 2, 6 and 24 hours post-extubation in both groups. Timepoint: 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hour, 6 hour and 24 hour

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate & compare the hemodynamic response during & after extubation at 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour & 2 hour. Timepoint: 5minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour & 2 hour.
