Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients of either gender aged 18 to 65 years Clinically-diagnosed cases of scabies with presence of typical scabietic lesions like papules vesicles at classical sites & presence of classical burrows on clinical examination Nocturnal pruritus History of involvement of family member or similar symptoms in contacts Patients who were willing to participate and give written informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnant women and lactating mothers Patients taking any topical or systemic antibiotic therapy in a week before entry into the study Having scabies with atypical presentation like crusted scabies or scabies incognito Patients with secondary bacterial infection History of allergy to any of the study drugs
