Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Scheduled for elective surgeries under general anesthesia Receiving morphine a premedication Provide informed consent for participation
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: History of chronic opioid use or dependence Neuropathic pain disorders or chronic pain syndromes Hepatic or renal dysfunction Known allergy to opioids Patients on antidepressants, anticonvulsants, or analgesics preoperatively Refusal to participate
