Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: The study includes patients aged 15-35 years having pidika as a classical symptom of Mukhadushika irrespective of gender, caste and socioeconomic status. Mild to moderate cases with no recent use of any acne medications (Antibiotics, Creams, Steroids, Hormonal therapy) are chosen for the research to avoid confounding effects.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with Pidika appearing on parts of the body other than face, as well as those with other skin conditions such as Kshudraroga and Kustharoga, or acne caused by side effects of previously applied drugs, were not included in the study. Individuals with comedonal acne or excessively oily skin and patients below 15 years and above 35 years of age were also excluded.
