Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients irrespective of their sex, religion, economic status and occupation presenting with the lakshanas of Katigraha. 2. Patients with mechanical strain of musculoskeletal origin. 3. Basti and Katibasti yogya persons. 4. Patient fulfilling diagnostic criteria of Katigraha w.s.r. Lumbar Spondylosis.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Basti ayogya and Kati basti ayogya 2. Traumatic and Congenital deformities of spine 3. Pregnant and lactating Women 4. Uncontrolled Diabetes Mellitus, IHD and Bronchial Asthma. 5. Non mechanical causes of back pain (e.g., Sciatica, Systemic/Visceral disease, Pregnancy, Spondylolisthesis, Spinal stenosis, Cancer, recent vertebral fractures) 6. Any surgical condition or recent lumbar surgery. 7. Patients with Anaemia and bleeding disorders. 8. Tuberculosis of vertebral bodies. 9. Implanted instrumentation/ prostheses other chronic metabolic pathologies – Rheumatoid arthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis, Gouty Arthritis, Epilepsy other systemic illness will be excluded from the study. 10. Patients with K/C/O Fissure in Ano, Fistula, Haemorrhoids.
