Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patient Having Symptoms of Joint Paint in one or both knee joints , swelling, tenderness, stiffness, crepitation and restricted movement of joints 2. Patient who are willing to give radiological investigation and provide blood for lab investigation 3. Patient who are willing to participate in this study with the knowledge of potential risks and who are willing to sign the informed consent form

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Age Below 35 years and above 70 years 2. History of Trauma to the joint 3. Other types of arthritis like rheumatoid arthritis , psoriatic arthritis, septic arthritis, reactive arthritis 4. History of uncontrolled diabetes 5. Pregnancy and lactating women 6. Benign and malignant neoplasm 7. Patient with any other autoimmune disease

The outcome will be aimed at reducing the symptoms of Perumootu vatham(osteo arthritis of knee) and to determine the therapeautic efficacy of trial drug parangi kashayamTimepoint: 24days

Assessment of change in symptoms from baseline in WOMAC Scale and improvement in quality of life at end of studyTimepoint: 24 days
