Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Presence of a deep carious lesion with pulp exposure, spontaneous pain or chronic apical abscess, abnormal mobility not associated with normal exfoliation, pain on percussion and fistula or abscess. 2. Posterior primary teeth with caries involving more than two surfaces requiring pulpectomy.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Teeth that exhibit physiologic or pathologic mobility. 2. Internal resorption in study tooth. 3. Physiologic root resorption more than a third of its length.
