Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Systemically healthy subjects who are not disqualified for periodontal surgery. 2.Subjects with good oral hygiene. Site specific: 1. Individuals with radiographic evidence of bone defect (2 wall/3 wall/Grade II furcation involvement) and localized Stage III Grade B periodontitis. 2. In addition to having an intrabony 2 or 3wall defect of 4–7 mm, subjects should have a clinical attachment level and probing depth more than 4 mm.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Individuals who smoke more than ten cigarettes a day as a chronic smoker. 2. Individuals who are unavailable for additional testing. 3. Pregnant and nursing mothers as subjects. 4. Participants who, within the previous six months, had received any kind of surgical periodontal therapy.
