Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age group: 25 to 60 years. 2. Systemically healthy patients (no known systemic diseases that affect periodontal health, e.g., diabetes, immunocompromised conditions). 3. Presence of chronic periodontitis diagnosed according to the 2017 World Workshop classification (Stage II–III, Grade B). 4. Presence of equal to or more than 2 sites/teeth with probing pocket depth (PPD) 4–7 mm. 5. No periodontal therapy or antibiotic use in the last 6 months. 6. Willingness to participate, maintain oral hygiene, and return for follow-up visits.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Systemic diseases or conditions that may affect periodontal healing (e.g., uncontrolled diabetes, cardiovascular disease, immunosuppression, bleeding disorders). 2. Pregnant or lactating women 3. Smokers and tobacco users 4. Patients on immunosuppressive, anti-inflammatory, or antibiotic therapy within the last 6 months. 5. History of allergy or hypersensitivity to Aloe vera, Mangosteen, or herbal preparations. 6. Patients unwilling or unable to comply with study protocol and follow-up schedule.
